This month has seen a lot of changes and development for Cordelia – and us as well. At the beginning of the month Corrie was still fairly inactive and not very engaging and now as she enters 2 Months she has become much more alert and interactive. Her “tummy time” is great – check out the videos. She now loves bath time and cries when we take her out. She’s smiling more often, maybe sometimes even intentionally, and has started making sounds. “Ah-goo” seems to be one of her more common sounds. We are feeling much more confident as parents and really getting into the routine of family life. Helena has also been adjusting fairly well. The last week of the month we changed Corrie to a new schedule with more awake time and one fewer feedings and she has really thrived in the new routine. She finished the last four days of the month by sleeping from 8:30pm to 5am! Needless-to-say we are very happy to be enjoying longer continuous hours of sleep and are very proud of our little girl. At the end of the month we received a visit from Uncle Danny, Aunt Rebekah, and Cousin Samuel. We had a great time visiting and Cordelia had her first outings to a restaurant and the Winchester Mystery House.
Please continue to pray for health for all of us, so far we have manage to remain free from sickness. Pray that we will have wisdom and patience raising this little girl God has blessed us with. Pray for strength for the coming month as Alicia goes down to San Diego with Corrie for three weeks to finish up work. We thank God to be so blessed and surrounded by supportive family and friends.
