We have had lots of excitement this past month. Tim’s work is starting to get more busy as his team enters the assembly and testing phase of the project. Alicia went back to work for two weeks before quitting Cymer to focus on motherhood full time. Cordelia got her 2 month shots and started going on outings with Mom. We went to a church park play day and are looking forward to playing with church friends more often.
On the home front we are having our upstairs bathroom remodeled and adding an additional bathroom upstairs. This has added some chaos to things with us relocating to the downstairs. Cordelia and Alicia went down to San Diego to finish work and also get away from the construction for three weeks. So Corrie went on her first plane flight which went very well and she only fussed a little on the decent. Thanks to Aunt Kelly we were also able to bring Helena down.
While in San Diego Cordelia has met lots of new people – great grandparents and other relatives and friends. Cordelia had a sudden development spurt towards the end of the month – starting to interact with her toys and rolling over onto her stomach. We are very blessed to have supportive family with Grandparents and Kelly watching Corrie for the two weeks while Alicia worked.
As we enter month 3, our goal is to get Cordelia sleeping through the night, now that her food intake has increased. We look forward to a fun 4th of July as Tim travels down to San Diego to join us for the holiday weekend. Please pray for safe travels back up to San Jose. Pray that the continuing transition to motherhood goes well and Alicia manages to remain mentally stimulated. Also pray that we will be able to get more connected with other young families at our church for play days and outings. We also look forward to having our house construction finished and enjoying our new bathrooms.
