As 2014 draws to an end we wish you all a Happy New Year and a blessed 2015. We spent two weeks with the Russin clan in Louisiana for Nathanael’s wedding and then stayed for Christmas. On our way back to San Jose we made a quick stop in Southern California to visit Grandparents and introduce Cordelia to Mark and Nicole’s three month old son. It was fun to see everyone again and interesting to watch the kids interact and learn to play with each other. After being on the road for over two weeks we appreciated coming home to our own bed and putting Corrie in her own room.
Corrie is starting to want to walk and learned to take some steps holding onto a kid shopping cart at Mimi and Papa’s house. She also has expanded her “vocabulary”, adding “g”, “k” and “n” sounds to her list.
As we head in to 2015 we already have a list of house projects in the works. We will be redoing the flooring down stairs – with the help of Dad Russin – and taking out a wall to make our entry way more open. In preparation for the floor we are revving the stairs to have them flow with the new floor color.
We are grateful for all the hospitality we received over the holidays and are very blessed to have such loving families. Please pray for us to properly prioritize between house work, family time, and couple time in 2015. Pray that Tim continues to have favor at work and finds exciting tasks and achievements. Pray that Alicia makes more connections with other Moms and various groups for encouragement and support.
